Christian Saint-Pierre, R.Ac

Teacher

Christian Saint-Pierre is a registered acupuncturist with a deep commitment to both classical and contemporary concepts of acupuncture and Chinese medicine.

His journey began in his teenage years during his Wing Chun Kung Fu training, where he learned to treat sports injuries with Chinese massage and herbal ointments. In 2002, driven by a desire to explore Chinese medicine and its philosophies more deeply, Christian moved to Nelson, BC, to study at the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences.

After earning his acupuncturist certification in 2005, he started practicing privately in Ottawa, Ontario. There, he pursued post-graduate studies in pre-Maoist medicine, Daoist medicine, Ba Zi, and Yi Jing.

He is among the few practitioners in Canada to hold the highest level of certification in The Balance Method and is also a certified Ba Zi consultant and Yi Jing practitioner.

In 2012, Christian moved to Cornwall, Ontario, where he and his wife Julie opened an acupuncture clinic. After seven successful years, he relocated with his family to Nova Scotia and now practices at Access Acupuncture in Dartmouth.

Christian has also taught acupuncture at the International Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Ottawa and the Academy of Acupuncture in San Diego, California. He continues to independently offer post-graduate workshops for local practitioners.

Additionally, Christian trains and teaches XiangShan ZiRan Quan, a Kung Fu style that integrates TaiJi Quan, Wing Chun Kuen, and ZiRan Men.
